An insight into my urban sketching process> quick, loose sketches and bright flowy watercolours!
This is a quick urban sketch of the city hall in Norwich (UK) using fineliner and watercolour.
I find art/sketching process videos interesting, so I thought I would share mine. I always try and keep things relatively loose while sketching as I think if often leads to a more interesting result (and is definitely better for freedom and my patience!), and I seem to often add splashes for dynamism 💦 It’s strange to actually look at your process as an outsider!
